Thank you so much Sally and Christopher for a warm welcome, the cottage is so lovely and clean and has everything we need, set in a beautiful village. Will be definitely using The Bolthole for our future stays.

Excellent holiday in a warm and comfy cottage. We had a lovely week visiting old haunts and finding new ones.

Thoughtful attention to every detail makes this cottage an ideal base in an idyllic setting. My review will concentrate on the 'dog friendly' element especially because this was important to us. We were warmly welcomed in person by Sally who appeared totally unfazed by Bentley the Bernese's size and potential to cause mess: indeed, this cottage is so well set up with dog owners in mind that we could all relax in the knowledge that a quick hoover round was all I needed to do. Hard floors and sturdy rugs on ground floor, a door at the bottom of the stairs, a 'doggy bag' which even included a high viz for that last walk at night - just brilliant thoughtfulness. While the garden is not fully enclosed, it is across the road from the cottage, so I wouldn't have a dog off the lead in there anyway. There are plenty of walks straight from the door - we particularly enjoyed the one over the fields to Buckland Abbey. The local pub is very dog friendly and does excellent food. We could happily live in this cottage year-round.

We wish to say we had a lovely week in the "Bolthole" at Milton Coombe, Yelverton, which was planned to coincide with my 70th birthday. We explored the area taking in the town of Tavistock with its Pannier market. Buckland Abbey which was less than 10mins away, Dartmoor a short drive including the prison museum, Badgers Holt at Two Bridges and Ashburton. We booked into the local pub/restaurant "Who'd Have Thought It Inn" for my birthday celebration and sampled their fine culinary menu, excellent. The cottage was well presented and included all the amenities one could wish for including wi-fi, very comfortable cosy and warm would definitely recommend and hope to return again at some point.
Thank you.

I love staying at The Bolthole as it is a unique and cosy place to stay with stunning countryside all around. My favourite thing is to follow the stream in Milton Combe all the way through the village. My dog enjoys doing that too! I also enjoy curling up in front of the fire and the beds are very comfy too. I would like to bring more family and friends here to stay. David. Aged 11 years.
Thank you Sally, for another lovely stay at The Bolthole. It is such a relaxing place to stay and we really appreciate how welcoming the cottage feels, especially the wonderful cream tea that you provide! Milton Combe is a fantastic place to base a holiday with Dartmoor and the Tamar Valley on your doorstep and parts of Cornwall or further afield in Devon all in reach. However, The Bolthole is so comfortable that we are quite happy to stay put and enjoy local walks and the fantastic food from the local pub. We look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you.Kathryn and Leigh. (Parents).

The Bolthole - aptly named accommodation in the beautifully kept village of Milton Combe, edge of Dartmoor. The cottage has a cosy feel with welcome added touches such as log burner, very comfortable beds and a lovely cream tea on arrival! The owners ensure you have everything you may need on a short break or longer stay. I would definitely recommend and revisit.
